Movie Mayhem is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #20. The comic has later got reprinted in Big Bouncy Book of Bart Simpson and Bart Simpson Annual 2012.

Plot

Bart and Milhouse are in the attic where they find a video camera and decide to make the movie Undead Men Walking. They start to look for someone who can pay them to produce the film, but fail to get the support of Homer, Marge, Kirk, Grampa and Skinner. They decide to make a low budget film but they only had enough money to buy the film rolls. Bart later meets Homer who is carrying food outside the Kwik-E-Mart and scares him. Homer drops all the food and starts strangling Bart, all the while being filmed by Milhouse. Bart and Milhouse then film background shots in Springfield before putting whipped cream in Santa's Little Helper mouth and filming that. They get children and senior citizens to walk as zombies then change the seniors menu to say "brains" instead of the shrimp they're dining, and film both. They wrapped up filming by dropping a toy school bus into the bathtub. After that they started to cut the film and recorded Homer snoring for background noise.

The film premieres at Springfield Elementary School and includes all the footage Bart and Milhouse filmed in the previous days. The movie is not appreciated by the audience and Bart and Milhouse get yelled at by the crowd. However, a buyer from "Bad Movie Channel" appears and wants to buy the television rights. Bart and Milhouse are overjoyed and those who had just badmouthed the film now want to participate in the next.
