Sun Burns! is a comic story featured in The Simpsons Summer Shindig #7.

Synopsis

Mr. Burns' decision to commandeer Springfield's public beach amidst a heatwave turns the citizens of Springfield against him.

Plot

The Simpsons family and other inhabitants of Springfield visit Springfield Public Beach when they arrive, they discover that Mr. Burns bought the beach. Nelson and Bart trying to have fun but discover that Burns dogs guarding the sea and he hired paintball snipers in the lifeguard tower. He has hired supermodels to make people feel bad about their looks. Lisa ask Mr. Burns to change his mind but he refuses. Mr. Burns starts sunbathing on the beach and will not have the sun block that Smithers offer him.

Burns starts to frieds in the sun and Smithers is prevented by the paintball snipers. Smithers gets upset and starts crying, Lisa and Grampa decides therefore to rescue him. They take a rowboat and row to shore and when they're near the beach throwing grandfather bacon to the dogs so that Lisa could swim to the beach. When she comes to the beach, she dazzles the paintball snipers with a mirror, she also with it models that will disterherade by check on himself. Lisa manages to rescue Burns and wrap him in aloe-coated bandages. Burns thanks Lisa and Grampa and promise that all will enter the beach for free. The family begins to enjoy the beach and Lisa are happy to Burns finally changed. Grampa says he did not and it turns out that Burns takes 20 dollars for people that wants leave the beach.
