Cape Feare is a Simpsons episode during the fifth season. Its plot, a parody of the horror film "Cape Fear" revolves around the return of Sideshow Bob. In 2003, Entertainment Weekly named this the third greatest episode in the history of the show.
Plot
After writing threatening letters to Bart Simpson, Sideshow Bob is released from prison. He then follows the Simpsons to the town of Terror Lake where he attempts to murder Bart Simpson. While on their new house boat, Bart, as a last request, convinces Bob to sing the entire score of the HMCS Pintafore. They float by Springfield, where Bobis arrested by the police and is sent back to jail.
