Lisa watched an episode of House, and when it was time for Dr. House to make his third incorrect diagnosis, Bart tired to take care of the wind turbine the family bought. In this episode, the symptoms of the patient were listed on House's whiteboard as: headache, brain tumor and decapitation.[1]

The Itchy & Scratchy Show did a cartoon parody of the show called Mouse M.D. .[2]
