Treat or Trick is a Simpsons Illustrated comic story first printed in Simpsons Illustrated #7.
Synopsis
Plot
Bart and Lisa get ready to go out trick-or-treating, with Marge telling them to be home by eight. When they go to Flanders' house, he gives them jars of lutefisk, which both kids hate. They then go to several other houses and get random junk and scraps of food instead of candy. Bart, who is now eager to get some candy, tries to go to Burns' manor, only to be chased by the hounds. As Bart and Lisa sit outside the house, annoyed at the lack of candy, Otto comes along and suggests they do the other half of trick-or-treat. Bart and Lisa then throw the stuff they got from everyone's houses at the Statue of Jebediah Springfield. Later, a news report comes on TV about the hooligans who vandalized the statue.
