The Dickens You Say is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #8.

Plot

Bart has to write an essay about Great Expectations. He tries to obtain a simpler version of the book, including going to Video Den, but fails to find anything. He convinces Lisa into helping him. When Lisa instead tells him a fake story, Bart falls for it and reads it to the class the next day. However, the teacher turns out to be Otto, who gives him an A grade.
