Leonard Simon Nimoy (March 26, 1931 – February 27, 2015) was an American actor, film director, photographer, poet, and singer-songwriter, best known for his role as Spock on Star Trek. He voiced himself in the season 4 episode "Marge vs. the Monorail" and the season 8 episode "The Springfield Files", which was originally a role for former Star Trek co-star George Takei.

Leonard Nimoy was voted 12th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars".
