Charles Montgomery Burns, more commonly known as Mr. Burns, is CEO of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant (aka SNPP) and the richest man in Springfield. Although it is never stated how much he is worth it is estimated he is a Trillionaire as he once possesed the only known Trillion Dollar Bill printed by the U.S. Treasury. He is often seen in his office, overlooking his workers outside, plotting evil schemes whilst his assistant, Smithers, looks on.
Burns was raised in a very happy family with his brother, George, and teddy bear, Bobo. He however, left his family to live with a very wealthy person, from whom he learned his malicious ways.
Burns served in World War II under Abraham Simpson in the Flying Hellfish, of the First Infantry Division in the European Theatre during World War II. However Burns defected to the Axis Powers to make bombs for them. Soon after the war he returned to Springfield and opened the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
In Springfield, he opened a biological weapons factory, but was stopped by protestors, including Mona Simpson. Since then he has worked at the Nuclear Power Plant he founded and continually cooks up diabolical schemes.
