The Slaughter House is the place where cows are slaughtered and turned into meat by automated machinery. It is located next door to the feed lot, Abbattoir & Costello LLC.
History
After Homer disguised himself as Lou so that Bart could break Lou out of the feed lot, he was taken to the slaughter house. However, due to his cow disguise partly obscuring his vision, Homer couldn't see all of the sign and thought he was being taken to a "Laughter House". He was nearly killed, but was saved when Marge hit the emergency stop button on the machinery.
