Marge's Extreme Make-Under is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics #157.
Synopsis
Patty and Selma are humiliated when a Channel 6 News story announces that Springfield has been named the ugliest city in America, and Kent Brockman shows pictures of them to explain how the city earned the designation. Marge tries to console her sisters and they challenge her to walk a mile in their shoes. Marge takes them up on the challenge (getting her hair and wardrobe redone so she looks like Patty and Selma) and is shocked at the difference in how she's treated. Marge then starts a protest movement to stop discrimination against ugly people.
Plot

The next day, Marge are shopping, she noticed then that she did not get the same nice treatment that she likes and she gets then a parkingbot from Clancy, in response, he says that she gets it because she is not hot anymore. Marge goes to his sisters tell them that people were unfriendly towards her today, they tell her that it is their life everyday. Marge then tells her to try to get people to change their perception of appearance. Homer comes home and managed to see Marge in her eyes but fails to having sex with her, even though it's dark in the room. Ruth Powers works with N.A.G.G. an association that fights for a good fight, she heard what Marge has made and the association has begun to protest the treatment of ugly people. The protest succeeds, more people joining it and it leading to Mayor Quimby decides to take down the sign "Welcome to Springfield ugliest Town in America" with a picture of Marge's sisters.
Patty and Selma have come out and see what has happened, Ruth says that they are proof that women don't need to paint their faces and decorate themselvges to live a fullfilling lives. Patty and Selma get's embarrassed and the N.A.G.G. go to the TV station, the cause of everything and start start to protest outside it. Kent comes out and says he wants to make a follow up and let Marge's sister get on TV answering their ugliness. They decide to participate in the interview after they feel like heroes, after N.A.G.G. made them realize that more people are ugly, they asks then Marge to stop copying their design. Marge goes to the hairdresser and restore their hair and Marge is happy that everything is back to it was again.
