Inherit the Windfall is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #87.
Synopsis
- "Milhouse becomes popular when his father opens a new candy store at the mall only to discover that fame can be fleeting."
Plot
Milhouse tells his buddies that Kirk has inherited $100,000 from an uncle he never meet. Milhouse tells his friends that he has opened a candy store, and he brings his friends there. The candy store makes Milhouse popular among all the children of Springfield. Bart gets a job as an assistant in the candy store and soon becomes jealous that Milhouse is more popular than him, and tries to become popular again but fails.
