Russell Edward Brand (born June 4, 1975) is an English actor, author, columnist, comedian, radio and television presenter, and singer. He voiced himself in the season 22 episode "Angry Dad: The Movie". He is the ex-husband of Katy Perry.
After finding out that he was asked to appear on The Simpsons, he stated in an interview with The Sun: "Once you've gone yellow, you've made it. My ideal show would be where I have a cartoon relapse with Barney and Homer and get smashed out of my mind with them."[1]
He was also interviewed in the documentary Springfield of Dreams: The Legend of Homer Simpson.
