Commercial Information
|
Supermarket is the first Vizir detergent. It originally aired on 1996.
Plot
Marge buys a package of the laundry detergent Vizier and lets Bart, Lisa and Homer take off their clothes in the living room. Later, when their clothes are drying in the garden, Bart, Lisa and Homer are naked and when Bart causes the clothes to end up on the ground, Homer and Lisa run away, leaving Bart standing alone in the garden.
Production
The storyboard artist had drawn Bart, anatomically correct for the commercial. Matt Groening gave then a note at he didn't want Bart to be drawn anatomically correct in the way it was drawn in the board. He wanted the drawing to be a little bit more abstract so they made a new design that's is look that Groening wanted and was used in the commercial.[1]
