Plot
On the way to a Ghost town the Simpsons car breaks down in front of the Retirement Castle Abe is plesently surprised having assumed the family has forgotten his birthday (which of course they had). After a day of roaming the ghost town the family heads back to Springfield Homer wants to make great time and ignors Abe's plea's to stop at several rest areas and The Worlds Biggest Toilet. Upon returning to Springfield Dr. Hibbert informs Abe that both his kidney's have exploded, he is going to need a kidney transplant or he will die. Grandpa goes out and a kidney blows for Homer's "We're makin' GREAT time!" and he runs away after he said he would to the transplant, leaving him to die, after deciding it over, he re-decides to do it, then RE-un-decides to. A car hits him and they take his kidney without noticing. Homer does a group hug while he's at the hospital. And he feels Bart's kidney. Wanting it later.

- Keycard was spotted twice in this episode, one while there's the crowd, and Keycard is seen bleak at the end but seen.
