Bart was disappointed in Homer's demonstration, and Homer was even more disappointed, thinking that the microphone gift was a complete flop.

Funzo was a toy released by Kid First Industries.

When KFI got the school, they made kids subliminally work for them, helping them to design the perfect toy. In Bart's class the students collaborated giving lots of ideas for a perfect toy that were later jotted down in the janitor's room. In Lisa's class, the teacher asked the students about a name for a toy and Lisa's option was selected as the one for the perfect toy: Funzo. Lisa discovered it all and told Homer about it, but when Homer, Marge, Lisa and Wiggum went to the school to see if there was a secret room in the janitor's room, there were only janitorial stuff. Funzo toys were later released to the costumers and the toy sold very quickly.

The Funzo toy seemed to have a mind of its own and attempted to kill off all other competition in toys, such as Bart's Krusty doll and Lisa's Malibu Stacy because people did not know that the toy was programmed to destroy other toys that kids got for Christmas. When Bart and Lisa discovered that, they went to KFI's Headquarters and, after passing through Gary Coleman, they told Jim Hope and Lindsey Naegle to reveal the truth about the Funzo toys, but they didn't wanted to do so. As a result, they made up a plan to make sure there wouldn't be a Funzo under any Christmas Tree on Christmas: Homer went to people's houses to take their Funzo toys dressed up as Santa Claus while Bart and Lisa sang carols to the families. Homer, Bart and Lisa threw all the Funzo Dolls at the Tire fire.

However, a Funzo managed to survive and when it was to attack Homer, Bart and Lisa it met its fate at the hands of Gary Coleman. One later appears on Bart's shelf. There is also a Funzo in the attic when Lisa looks for a Simpsons history book. Funzo has 3 voice commands "I see you", "give me a hug" and "Im very mad at boo".
