Maggie's Crib is a Bart Simpson Comics story that appears in Bart Simpson 59.

Synopsis

Maggie finds Homer's dinner more appetizing then her own.

Plot

It's dinnertime at the Simpson home. Maggie is seated at the table in her high chair, where Marge serves her a bowl of baby food. Maggie scowls at the bowl and gives it a dirty look. However, she smiles and starts salivating when she looks across the corner of the table at Homer's dinner of steak, mashed potatoes and peas, which Homer has already started eating.

With an urgent expression on her face, Maggie points into the air above and behind Homer. When Homer turns to look, Maggie knocks the bowl of baby food off of her high chair's tray, sending it falling to the floor. Homer turns back around, then bends down to attend to the mess on the floor next to Maggie's chair. Unseen by Homer, Maggie starts climbing out of her chair's seat.

When Homer comes back up, he sees that his dinner is gone and is thoroughly puzzled. Maggie, however, is back in her high chair seat, daintily using a napkin to clean the remnants of a steak dinner off of her face.
