The Town Square is at the centre of Springfield. It is in front of, and across the road from the town hall. The town square is an irregular rectangle of grass and trees. There is a Statue of Jebediah Springfield at the centre of the square. The town square would be the perfect place for a picnic, but it is spraye twice daily with malathion. The sprayings last the better part of an hour and take place between 10AM and 2:30PM and 2:37PM and 5:00PM.
