Bend It Like Beckham is a British comedy-drama film from 2008 about a girl from Indian descent who wants to play in a female soccer team but does this in secret to prevent her parents from finding out.
History
Lisa, Janey, Sherri and Terri all watched the film. They were supportive of the main character Jesminder Bhamra and attacked Apu when he supported her father in the film.
Plot
Jesminder was telling her father that she loved soccer. However, her father was making her get married to a total stranger to get business contacts.
