- "Sno-Bliterator" is most likely a reference to the Marvel Comics Supervillain Obliterator.
- Otto's "Well, the weather out here is frightful, but my wheels are so delightful..." is a reference to the famous song "Let It Snow" by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn.
