Neil Patrick Harris is an American actor, singer and magician. He first made his claim to fame as the title character in Doogie Howser, M.D. His current role is Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother.
On The Simpsons, Harris voiced himself in the episode "Bart the Murderer", playing the role of Bart Simpson in a made-for-TV movie. Harris has also been spoofed/joked on in a couple of episodes:
- "Flaming Moe": After Moe makes over his bar into the gay-friendly "Mo's", he owns a dog named Neil Patrick Hairless (punning Harris's name).
- "Homer the Father": While watching the Tube Town TV channel, Homer sees a show called Supreme Courtney, which is a spoof of Doogie Howser, M.D.
