James Brown (May 3, 1933 – December 25, 2006) was an American soul singer, known as the "Godfather of Soul". He appeared as himself in the episode "Bart's Inner Child" and sang his hit song "I Feel Good". Brown is considered one of the most popular and influential singers of the 20th Century after a 50 year career.
