The Golden Homer Award is an award given away every month to a Wikisimpson user. To users for these awards, go to Wikisimpsons:The Golden Homer Award/December 2010. Remember that the award is not only based on edit count, but quality of contributions. For the top users in edit count, see Wikisimpsons:Top Editors.
Types of awards
Homer Awards
- Platinum Homer Award - Best overall service to the Wiki over an entire year. Comes with users name engraved on trophy (not real trophy).
- Golden Homer Award - Best overall service to the Wiki.
- Silver Homer Award - Second best overall service to the Wiki.
- Bronze Homer Award - Third best overall service to the Wiki.
- Crystal Homer Award - Good service to the Wiki for a year, given to many users.
Bart Awards (canceled)
- Golden Bart Award - Leader of Points at the end of each month. Canceled after points system removed.
Marge Awards
- Golden Marge Award - User who has been doing much cleanup work - given out at random.
Rules
- Administrators cannot win the award. The award is to encourage users and administrators are good enough. Also, many administrators edit a lot and will not make it fair for the other users.
- Anyone can nominate a user and vote.
- IPs can not be nominated.
