- Bart: What? it's us? But... but...
- Lisa: Bart? What're you reading?
- Bart: A comic book, and get this, Lis! It's about us!
- Lisa: What? Us? What's the story?
- Bart: I don't know, I skipped to the end! I just don't have the attention span I did when I was nine. I was going through Homer's dresser drwars looking for money and found these! Simpsons Comics issues number one and a hundred!
- Lisa: But who'd make a comic about our family?
- Bart: And what kind of sick weirdo would want to read it?
- Bart: But I come in here every week. Why haven't I seen any Simpsons Comics before?
- Comic Book Guy: No time to talk, young Padawan. I must get my booth ready for today's Springfield Comic-Con.
- Bart & Lisa: But... but... but...
- Comic Book Guy: Now make like the villain from issue #2 of the original X-Men and vanish!
- Bart: Krusty, have you ever been in a comic?
- Krusty the Clown: Have I?
- Lisa: You keep your comics with you?
- Krusty: It's in case of emergency, one time the Ritz was out of T.P., and I promised myself I'd never let that happen again!
- Sergio Aragonés: ...and that is how my margin cartoons in Mad Magazine made both Kennedy and Castro laugh and were the real reason for the end of the Cuban missile crisis!
- Nelson Muntz: Wow!
- Üter Zörker: Ooooh!
- Sergio Aragonés: Hola, amigos!
- Bart: Hello, Sergio! We're huge fans!
- Sergio Aragonés: Would you like to buy on of my books? A comic? One of the many films I was in?
- Bart: Okay, I get it! It's so sneaky I can ever respect it. But why have I never seen any Simpsons Comics in any of the comic book stores?
- Lisa: Yeah, why?
- Marge: Have you seen the way the artist draw me? My butt looks huge! It's so embrrassing, I but them all up on new comics day before your kids are out of school! I but all the issues I can find at the comic-cons, too!
