The Prince and the Penal System is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #72.
Synopsis[edit]
Bart has stolen all the coffee from the teacher's lounge, so as punishment, Principal Skinner forces Bart to take part in the TV program Kids 'N' Cons. At first Bart thinks it's a good idea, but then Lisa reminds him that Homer always watches that program. Not wanting to enrage Homer, Bart gives the ticket to Martin Prince, tricking him into thinking it's a ticket for the new aerospace museum.
After school, Homer and Bart watch an episode of Kids 'N' Cons where Martin is a participant. Bart is worried how it will go for Martin, who must spend a full day with criminals.
