Pagliacci is an opera.
History[edit]
Krusty was starring in Pagliacci at the Colosseum when the Simpson family was in Italy. They meet him at the Colosseum, and he puts them in as extras because Sideshow Bob, Francesca and Gino had a vendetta on them. When Krusty gets booed by the audience, he goes into a trap door and flees the stage, allowing Bob to perform the climax of Vesti la Giubba, which gains a standing ovation and makes the audience belive it's fake even though the Simpsons try to tell them it's not. Before they can kill them, though, Krusty's limo picks them up.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- Pagliacci is a real opera.
- The word "Pagliacci" means "Clowns" in Italian.
