Slumber Party Seance is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #227.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Lisa's slumber party takes a turn for the supernatural."
Plot[edit]
Lisa is having a slumber party at Sherri and Terri's house. They want to make prank calls to the boys, but Lisa would rather study for a big test on famous American inventors. Sherri and Terri suggests they play Dial-A-Date, but Lisa thinks the game is ridiculous because there are no ghosts, and she goes out to the garden to study. She gets hit by an antenna that comes from a treehouse. Lisa goes up to the treehouse and finds Martin, Ralph, Milhouse and Wendell inside. They tell her that they are playing secret agents. Lisa comes up with an idea: she agrees to play Dial-A-Date with Sherri, Terri and Janey. Outside the house, famous American inventors appear as ghosts and Sherri, Terri and Janey are scared. Lisa tells them that they are just boys playing a prank on them, and when she goes out to the garden to pick them up, they have gone away. When she tells them that she found the boys in the treehouse, she finds out that it was burned down five years ago. Lisa realizes that the ghosts are real and runs home before they tell her that they started building a new treehouse last year. Sherri and Terri wonder why the boys disappeared. It turns out that the boys disappeared because Clancy Wiggum saw Ralph and picked them up because they should not be outside during a thunderstorm.
