Book Information
Genre: Children's
First appearance: "Lisa the Simpson"

Yertle the Turtle is a children's book.

History[edit]

When Lisa talked about the brain on TV she asked the viewers to not deprive themselves of wonderful books like To Kill a Mockingbird, Harriet the Spy and Yertle the Turtle which is possibly the best book ever written on the subject of turtle stacking. Clancy Wiggum saw it when he was reading Yertle the Turtle and said that she has got it right.[1]

Milhouse tried to make Bart read Yertle the Turtle to him to help him sleep.[2]
