"The Glass Moan-agerie" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.
Plot[edit]
Itchy is a glassblower who runs a store selling the glass sculptures that he makes. Scratchy applies for an apprenticeship, and Itchy accepts. Itchy begins work on his next creation and tosses Scratchy into the kiln with the blob of molten glass he is shaping. After a few rounds of blowing the glass and putting Scratchy and the glass back into the kiln for more heating, Itchy has blown Scratchy into a glass "NO VACANCY" sign for a motel. Later, at the motel, Itchy admires his finished work while sipping a drink with Ms. Mouse in the pool. Every time the sign flashes on, Scratchy screams.

The title is a refence to The Glass Menagerie, a Tennessee Williams play.
