The family sit and eat breakfast and [[Homer]] becomes enraged when he realizes that his waffles missing. [[Lisa]] decides to find out where the waffles have gone and asks Homer when the last time he saw the moon waffles was. Homer tells Lisa that he only looked away from his plate for a split second to check the stock pages, and when he looked down on the plate they were gone. Homer thinks that [[Bart]] has eaten them, but he says he does like them to Lisa. Lisa then asks [[Marge]], who doesn't have time for another one of Homer's waffle crises. [[Maggie]] turns out to be no good and Lisa realizes who did it. She realizes that Homer himself had eaten them up, and he admits only to proclaim that his plate is empty again. There were three clues that tipped her off: Homer has been known to forget that he has food in his mouth while chewing it, he never reads the stock pages and the stock market isn't open on Sundays, and today is Monday. Homer then tells Lisa that he read them as he is interested in commodity listings.

The family sit and eat breakfast and Homer becomes enraged when he realizes that his moon waffles are missing. Lisa decides to find out where the waffles have gone and asks Homer when the last time he saw them was. Homer tells Lisa that he only looked away from his plate for a split second to check the stock pages, and when he looked down on the plate they were gone. Homer thinks that Bart has eaten them, but Bart says he doesn't like them. Lisa then asks Marge, who is busy making school lunches. Maggie looks on innocently. Lisa realizes that Homer himself had eaten them, which he admits to. He then once again proclaims that his waffles have been stolen.
