The Case of the Missing Moon Waffles/Quotes

Wikisimpsons - The Simpsons Wiki

Homer: Aaiiieeee!!! My waffles! My delicious moon waffles! They're gone. Gone! Someone at my glorious waffles!
Lisa: Look like there's a mystery in need of solving. If i combine my deductive reasoning with my keen observational skill, perhaps the truth shall come to light. Dad when was the last time you saw the alleged moon waffles.
Homer: [SNIFF] [SOB] Well, Lisa, daddy only looked away from his plate for a split second to check the stock pages, and when I looked down at my plate [WHIMPER] They were gone! It was the boy! The boy did it!
Bart: Don't look at me! I didn't take his moon waffles. I don't even like them. The caramel gets stuck in my teeth and the liquid smoke makes me break out in a rash.
Lisa: Mom where were you when the moon waffles disappeared?
Marge: Lisa, I don't have time for another one of your father's waffle crises. I need to make these lunches, or you'll be late for school.
Lisa: Maggie?...
Maggie: [SUCK!] [SUCK!]
Lisa: After gathering all the circumstantial evidence and weighing all of you alibis. Only one person could have eaten the waffles. It was... you!
Homer: You're right! It was me. I ate them, and they tasted so good and crunchy and toasty and.... Aaiiieeee!!! My waffles! My delicious moon waffles! They're gone. Gone! Someone at my glorious waffles!
Lisa: Dad, you at them. Remember? You just confessed!
Homer: But how did you know?
Lisa: Three things tipped me off. First of all you have been know to forget that you have food in your mouth while chewing it. Secondly, you have never read the stock pages in your life. And finally, the stock market isn't open on Sundays, so there is no listing on Monday morning.
Homer: I do so read them!
Lisa: But what possible interest could you have in the stock pages?
Homer: The commodity listings. It's like and alphabetical trip to the grocery store. There's beef and eggs and oranges and pork bellies... mmm... pork bellies. Ooo! pork bellies on a moon waffle! Double mmm....
