Plot[edit]

It's World War II, and the Flying Hellfish has completed a flight mission. They are on their way back to base when Abe sees a Gremlin destroying the left wing of his plane. Abe tells the Gremlin the wing is his, and the Gremlin stops destroying it and begins to destroy the right wing instead. Abe walks out of the cockpit and is about to start a fight with the Gremlin, who moves to the cockpit and starts flying the plane. The Gremlin, thinking that Abe has fallen to the ground, begins to celebrate, until he discovers that Abe survived, and is strangled by him. Then someone shoots at them, and it turns out to be Mr. Burns, who tells Abe that he is shooting the plane down to get money. Abe and the Gremlin decide to get revenge on Burns. Before the aircraft is shot down, Burns promises to Grampa that he can have a last wish. He must buy war conds with his life savings, which he throws to him. When Burns opens the bag, the Gremlin is in the bag and begins to destroy Burns' plane, which crashes in the Smithers family cottage. Grampa finishes telling the story to Lisa and Maggie and says he came back safely and they won the war. Lisa does not believe the story, but Maggie does. Lisa asked Grampa if he ever saw the Gremlin again and he says he did, as he looks out the window and sees Bart removing a component from Homer's car.
