The Barber of Seville is an opera. As its title implies, it is set in the city of Seville, Spain.

Homer was the star of the opera, in the role of Count Almaviva, when it played at the Springfield Opera House. Because Julia wanted to kill Homer the police were at the premiere to stop her to killing Homer.
