Sherwood allows [[Bart]] to "go ahead and take" at least one mint and encourages the family to take a "deep cleansing breath" after observing the family's "deep-seeded hostility," but Bart eats too many mints and says "I ain't leaving until this bowl's empty" when Sherwood tells him "don't you think you've had enough mints son?" Homer angrily tells Bart to put the mints back. After Bart ruins the bowl of mints by spitting them out, [[Lisa]] kicks Dr. Sherwood in the leg after scolding Bart for ruining the bowl of mints for everyone. Homer scolds Sherwood for calling Lisa a borderline psychotic, Bart shoots him with his dart gun because he dislikes him, and Lisa cuts his tie with scissors much to Marge's horror.
