- The location of the fair isn't explicitly specified, but the State Fair (previously seen in Maggie's Crib 5) is a reasonable conjecture:
- The State Fair is in a rural area, but near to Springfield. When the Simpsons were driving by it, they weren't packed for a long trip. The fair in this story is also in or near Springfield, as a sign on a trash can in the first panel reads "Keep Springfield Clean".
