He entered the call with Onni Korhonen and another potential candidate, Dr. Spivak. Korhonen asked Dr. Spivak to leave the call while he quickly interviewed Homer, not expecting the interview to last very long. However, after a lengthy interview, Homer was offered the job, thanks to Professor Frink coaching him through it.
