Moe: The Last Single Man in Springfield was a comic book series from Bongo Comics, presented in The Bongos That Time Forgot.

History[edit]

Mixing comedy and romance in a horrifying post-apocalyptic world seemed like just the ticket to widen Bongo's readership. And so, in a single issue, they destoyed Springfield, melted the polar ice caps, and elimated every other male on the planet but Moe. They thought the subtle irony of casting such a small, unattractive man as the only dating option on Earth for billions of females would equal laughs and pathos galore. They were wrong. Despite some strong initial stories, such as "Moe Szyslak, King of Femalia", "Moe Dates Venezuela" and "Moe-tiplicity" the promise soon grew stale. After a last-ditch effort to spice things up by introducing a wandering band of wise-cracking, cybernetic sperm whales, the series was soon cancelled.
