Behind the Laughter
The song is a parody of the traditional Christmas carol "O Holy Night", while the California Prunes are a parody of the California Raisins created by Will Vinton The parody lyrics were written by Michael Price. It is the twenty-second track of the album The Simpsons: Testify. Jim Gilstrap did the voice of the The California Prunes and Harry Shearer the announcer. The orchestration is made by Alf Clausen.
