[[Ned Flanders]] goes missing in the woods during a family camping trip. After three weeks, he is presumed dead but mysteriously reappears, interrupting his own memorial service. However, Ned is a changed man, acting completely unlike himself. [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]] find green ooze left behind by Flanders which soon turns up in newspapers. [[Rainier Wolfcastle]] reads about the ooze and jumps into action as he had previously seen this ooze after [[McBain Comics: Dead to the Last Drop|fighting a clone version of the mafia]]. Bart, Lisa and Wolfcastle enter the woods where Ned went missing and are beamed on board a spaceship where they discover the real Ned being held in a hibernation state, the culprits reveal themselves: [[Kang]], [[Kodos]] and...[[Sideshow Bob]]. Fallen Flanders is a Simpsons Comics story featured in Simpsons Comics #11.

Synopsis

Ned Flanders goes missing in the woods during a family camping trip. After three weeks, he is presumed dead but mysteriously reappears, interrupting his own memorial service. However, Ned is a changed man, acting completely unlike himself. Bart and Lisa find green ooze left behind by Flanders which soon turns up in newspapers.
