Synchronicity for Two

Synchronicity for Two is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story that appears in Professor Frink's Fantastic Science Fictions #1. It was also featured in Bongo Comics Free-For-All 2014.

A part of the story is in 3D. The 3D-part was in 2D at Bongo Comics Free-For-All 2014. See below for other changes.

Synopsis

"A routine science demonstration goes horribly awry and Professor Frink finds himself trapped between dimensions with local troublemaker Bart Simpson. Can they navigate this strange otherworld and get back safely before the end of sixth period?"

Plot

"How d'you say "taco" in Mexican?" This section is in Engrish. Please correct the article, or discuss the issue on the talk page.

Professor Frink has a lecture in Bart's class where he talks about his invention that can provide proof of existence of muliple dimensions. Martin then tell him at Plasmo has gone through several alternative realties but Frink points then out at it's a comic, he talks about reality. Bart gets bored and starts playing with Frinks device and he accidentally launch it and Frink and Bart travels from the classroom into Martin's comic. They found there Starla which understand at Bart and Frink should not be there and she call for Plasmo to help them return back to their dimensions. Just when Plasmo are going to send them back is them attacked by Sand Snake. Snake manages to take Starla and Plasmo but Frink succeed him to release them and turn into glass after he solidifies when he used one of his inventions he had with him. Plasmo sent them back to school meanwhile Plasmo and Starla are going to eating a dinner where Plasmo takes off his mask.

Other changes in the 2D Version of the story

Due to the removal of the 3D several elements were removed or changed:

• The dialogue (as seen in the picture above) was changed to:
  • Bart- This place is all cuckoo crazy!
  • Frink- And I've got no idea how to get us back! Oh, if only I had paid more attention during the last Twilight Zone marathon!
• The footnote referring to the 3-D glasses "Whaddya know?! Bongo's provided a pair in this very issue! Put 'em on now and thank us later! -Ed" was removed.
• The footnote in the panel where Bart and Frink are first back in class "Whew! You can remove your goggles now. -Ed" was also removed.
