Yellow Is the New Black is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics #221.
Synopsis
- "When Marge gets sent to a women’s prison on a trumped up charge, it’s up to Springfield’s favorite plump schlump to get her out that dump. Yes, we’re talking about Homer Simpson – and posing as a woman, committing a crime, and going to jail in order to break his wife out of the slammer may be the least of his worries."
Plot
Homer and Marge has bought a new mattress after Homer got an extra income because he sold his car engine and starting to drive the Flintstone-wise. Homer falls asleep quickly but not Marge, she discovers that she is sleeping on the mattress tag and tear it loose though it says that you do should not. The police is arresting then her. Homer still sleeping and the mattress is taking as an evidence. Three days later is the trial and Marge sentenced to Springfield Women's Correctional facility, while Homer is awake and he tell her he will rescue both her and the mattress. Marge finds out that Mayor Quimby have begun to arrest to all women for the slightest offense because his new prison is not full and he would not see it as a failure. Marge becomes cellmate with Tattoo Annie that calling the Blueberry and she begins to be friend with the other prisoners.
Homer tries to get back the mattress and Marge, Bart gives him an idea he should dress up like Marge and change places with her. Homer disguises herself as Marge and going to Discount Bedding & Bacon where he tears off a mattress tag. Homer tell the police that he is totally guilty and not need a trial so he goes straight to prison. Homer calls himself Homerella Sampson but when he is there to find Marge, he finds out that she has just been released and Homer gets panics. Marge comes home where she tells the children that Quimby released all of the women that was imprisoned unfairly after Martha Quimby was caught Facebooking while intoxicated. Marge going then back to prison to rescue Homer.
Marge decides to take Ned's letter from his mailbox and give it to him, but when he touch his mail she is arrested for mail tampering because it's a federal crime. Marge tell the police that she just violated her parole so she can immediately go back to prison. Homerella has meanwhile become the head of the kitchen and become best friend with Annie. Marge can't reach Homer and she talking with Red, one of the kitchen crew. Red tell her she want back her kitchen and Marge telling her at she want to take away her. Red telling her at she should stay with her for these kinds of events are usually working out by itself. The prisoners eating the first meal that Homerella has done, and they spit out the food and becomes angry on her for she can't cock. There is a riot in the prison and Red takes Homerella and Marge to the kitchen where she unlocks the door out of prison so the both can leave prison. Homer is scared at they can be looking for them but Marge tell him at neither of us should've been there in the first place.
Marge and Homer comes home where Tatto Annie and her cronies is and playing with the kids. They tell Homer and Marge at Homerella gave them their address and they could come over when they wanted and that they escaped during a riot. Homer laughing at telling Marge Silly Homerella when she looking angry at him.
