She appeared in the episode "Lisa's First Word", voicing Maggie Simpson's first word "Daddy" and later as herself in "Krusty Gets Kancelled". Taylor is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood history, starring in such films as Cleopatra (1963) and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for BUtterfield 8 (1960) and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966).

She died of congestive heart failure at the age of 79.
