Scary Stories is the eighteenth short. It aired on The Tracey Ullman Show on December 20, 1987.
Plot
Bart asks Lisa and Maggie if they want to hear a scary story. Then he switches off the light and starts telling about an evil insane maniac, but Lisa asks him why he couldn't tell it with lights on. Bart agrees, but is unable to find the light switch and says that it's gone. Then Lisa turns on the light.
Then Bart tells about a psychopathic stranger on the loose in a dark house, who was not seen, but his breathing was heard. Bart then breathes like Darth Vader, but then Lisa screams and runs to turn the lights on again.
Bart then tells another story about a vampire sucking blood from the neck of his latest victim. Then Maggie sucks on her pacifier, making Bart and Lisa gasp and hold onto each other and shake. Maggie then turns on the lights again.
Then Bart again switches the light off and tells the scariest story of all - about three little children sitting shivering in the dark, which scares Lisa and Maggie. Then are heard some footsteps and then the footsteps stop and the door is opened. Homer and Marge had just entered and see their children hiding behind the couch and screaming.
