History
When Maggie climbed to the top of the grocery store's shelves to play a prank on Gerald, several boxes of Cheezus H Rice were on a shelf that she passed on her way up.[1]
Behind the Laughter
- Cheezus H Rice is a pun on the expression "Jesus H. Christ".
- Hiding puns in the backgrounds of his cartoons is one of Sergio Aragonés's artistic trademarks.
