I think it's just a superhero comic with a central theme of "boy in man's body". It's been done before (as with Billy Batson and Captain Marvel), so Manboy is most likely something similar where the superhero has a more youthful appearance. IMO, not a porno. :::I don't even see anything pornographic in the picture on the front. It is just a man showing his muscles. That's like saying all weightlifters are porn stars or something. We often see Rainier Wolfcastle and Drederick Tatum showing their muscles. Hell, we even have seen Homer and Marge doing so when they worked out. We don't class them as porn stars so Manboy shouldn't be any different. The Solar Dragon (Talk - Contribs.) 08:57, 20 February 2013 (EST)

Porno or Not?[edit]

Given that there appears to be some disagreement about this comic, opening a discussion seemed more appropriate than unilaterally changing it.

I think that someone's applying the pornography brush a bit too broadly. While CBG does carry some adult titles, he seems to be pretty diligent about making sure they stay in the back room behind the curtain ("Worst Episode Ever"). Granted, that doesn't entirely eliminate the possibility of it having been left in the front rack by a customer ...

The title of the comic could be construed as a NAMBLA reference, but considering the near-universal condemnation that NAMBLA receives in pop culture and in mainstream society, that would be an extreme stretch and I don't think that even the Simpsons writers would go there.

I think it's just a superhero comic with a central theme of "boy in man's body". It's been done before (as with Billy Batson and Captain Marvel), so Manboy is most likely something similar where the superhero has a more youthful appearance. IMO, not a porno.
