Golf is a sport played a lot in Springfield. Bart and Todd Flanders both like playing mini golf and have entered tournaments. Also, Mr. Burns plays golf at Springfield Glen Country Club. Mr. Burns is also not a good golfer as Smithers always cheated for him and Homer has beaten him due to Smithers cheating and Mr. Burns being disqualified. A golf game is included on Zii Sports. Another golf video game is Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge that Bart got for Christmas. In an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show, Par For the Corpse, Itchy and Scratchy play the sport at a golf course.[1]
A form of golf, which Bart and Todd play, is Miniature Golf and can be played at Sir Putt-A-Lot Merrie Olde Fun Center.
Bart once made money collecting lost golf balls from the golf course, and also found a cellphone there.[2]
Marge also once made Homer take up golf because he was spending to much time around the house.[3]
