The Springfield Shopper is the local newspaper in Springfield.

It was founded in the 1800's by Johnny Newspaperseed, a boy who travelled across America founding newspapers.

The price of the Shopper has fluctuated with the local economy over the years, it has been free and occasionally as much as $1.00, but is usually just 50c.
