Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE, Hon RAM, FRCM (born June 18, 1942), better known as Paul McCartney, is an English musician and singer-songwriter, best known for formerly being a member of The Beatles and Wings. He is noted by the Guinness World Records as the most successful songwriter in the history of popular music.[1] He voiced himself in the season 7 episode "Lisa the Vegetarian", alongside his now deceased wife Linda. McCartney's stipulation for appearing was that Lisa's decision to become a vegetarian would be a permanent character change, to which producer David Mirkin agreed.[2]

Paul McCartney was voted joint 10th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars" along with fellow Beatles Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
