The Apu in The Jolly Bengali Theme is a song for Apu.

Lyrics

When you need a late-night snack,
A heat lamp dog or a Duff six-pack,
Then pull out your wallet and don't hold back
With Apu Nahasapeemapetilan!

Behind the Laughter

It never made it to the final episode of 22 Short Films About Springfield due to it being cut for time. The music was written by Alf Clausen and the lyrics by the show's creator Matt Groening. Unlike most deleted songs, this one appears on Go Simpsonic with the Simpsons fully orchestrated and sung by studio singers. It is the second bonus track on the album.
