My Bot[edit]

You have to create a file in the families folder called simpsons.py. You have to open a notepad document, copy and paste the stuff from User:Solar Dragon/Pywikipedia and save it as a .py (just put simpsons.py, that will do it). You then need to open user-config.py in notepad and change things for your username and add simpsons where it is needed into it. 1. I downloaded Python from here and Pywikipediabot from here.

2. I clicked "edit this page" on User:Solar Dragon/Pywikipedia, And copied everything there.

3. I Opened a notepad and pasted the stuff saving it as "simpsons.py"

Blocked User template[edit]

New badges[edit]

I wanted to create some new badges for edits to production pages, in hopes of encouraging users to start to focus on that field. I tried to make some badges, but I don't have large versions of the border templates. Could you send me those? -- Brian McClure 23:51, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

You don't have to worry about that, your picture automatically gets fitted into one of those frames, just make sure that the main part of the picture is in the center since most of the picture gets cropped out automatically. --Smiley12 was here at 06:25, August 5, 2010 (UTC)

I went ahead and added some images. This website is an excellent place for high quality screen shots, so that's where I got the majority of the images. Proxy Vandal[edit]

Messed up Templates[edit]

I like it too. Maybe we could do the same to all infoboxes and NextPrevEp templates. Logo[edit]

Hi, Smiley12! I was just thinking about the wiki logo and how good it is compared to some. However, it really does need "Wikisimpsons" to appear on the logo somewhere. I would do it myself, but I don't know if I have the right software and skill to do it. Maybe it could be written using the simpsons font, similar to whats been done with the "wikia" logo? And then underneath, maybe, "The Simpsons Wiki" or something like that? Seeing as this wiki seems to be getting more popular and "going up in the world", as it is, I think adding this would help. "Simpsons font" on main page[edit]

Hi Smiley. I was just wondering if its possible to have the "Featured article" "News" and other section headings in the simpsons font like on the logo. I've been discussing it with TheHomer and we think it would look really good! Is there someway to do this? Prehaps the text could be made into pictures files and then added to the header...I dunno. Yes. I did see that. But doesnt this meant that people who do not have the font installed cannot see the font. This doesnt seem like a good idea IMO. Prehaps we could do it another way? Wait, I think there might be some misunderstanding. The project is uploading pictures of the font. Then making a template to be able to writ important pages with the font.
