"The Wheel I'm Inside" is a song sung by Ralph Wiggum.
History[edit]
When young Bart and Lisa escaped from their parents, they felt they were being chased by strangers. In order to lose them, Bart went to the street with his tricycle, causing traffic accidents. Lisa, who was still on the sidewalk, was approached by Ralph. Ralph told her that Bart "was stupid" and then climbed into the wheel of a truck. The truck later got aboard a ship, and departed with Ralph still inside the wheel.
Lyrics[edit]
- The wheel I'm inside goes round and round,
- Round and round, round and round
- The boat I'm on board goes up and down,
- Up and down, up and down.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The song is a parody of "The Wheels on the Bus", an American folk song written by Verna Hills.
